A great day out

Rosie said... Despite having had no experience of smithing before, I thought that I would sign up for this course to do something a bit different from the usual tourist activities. I really enjoyed my day at the forge. Rob was a really great teacher, explaining all the steps in the process and allowing me to be in charge of the more simple steps along the way. Arja was lovely too, preparing a delicious lunch and snack breaks. Bonus, I made a really great-looking knife!
