Reat Winery experience
Mish our tour guide was amazing. Her knowledge of the island made the traveling so interesting and the scenic views were great. The wineries were nicely varied so got a wide overview. Not being huge wine drinkers the one problem I found was tasting all the wines with no food until after the third wine testing. However overall it was a great experience.

Fantastic day from start to finish. Dave our driver was superb both from his knowledge of Waiheke and overall fun guide. Highly recommend

Good winery
It would have been nice if we were able to choose the place for having lunch. Batch was a nice place to dine in, but it would've been better to have the lunch in mudbrick vineyard because I loved it!

We are sorry you could not book your lunch stop. If we did this no one would get a long enough stop as everyone would be wanting to go to different locations. We book the vineyards in advance also to ensure space. We hope you enjoyed the rest of the tour.

Wine variation is lacking.
Was a good day out. Driver was great. If you’re not into Syrah, Chardonnay or rose the day is probably not for you though as that’s all you’ll get at every vineyard, a bit of variety would have been nice. Only Stoney Ridge did a proper tour which was lovely, the rest felt very rushed, didn’t get to see how the wine is made etc. Batch winery is quite run down and could have managed tours much better (we waited for quite a while and then were put in the food area where it’s all cobwebbed and dirty and surrounded by dying houseplants)- wine could have been done with lunch and would have saved a lot of awkward time standing around waiting…
