A nice stroll on a working farm/winery

Lovely afternoon activity! Nice walk, sights to see and the art installations are quite interesting. You can also take a break to have a quick wine tasting or a snack at the cafe.

Best for ages 4 and up

Enjoyed viewing the artwork and experiencing the installations. We went with our toddler, which made things a tad difficult as the walk wasn't pram-friendly. It rained the day before which made the ground muddy and slightly slippery. They did say to bring good walking shoes and an umbrella. Would still definitely go back.

Shazza

If I could give a zero I would. Very disappointing. Some of the items that were meant to be sculptures left a lot to immigration One of the board walks had a raised wire that forms a small arch about 2m high that one of our parties tripped on (health and safety issue) and no one was about to advise at the conclusion. Best part of walk were the lovely waterlilies in the lake. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

From The Brick Bay Sculpture Trail

Hi Shazza, Thanks for your visit and I'm so sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. As the old saying goes "Art is in the eye of the beholder, and everyone will have their own interpretation.". Contemporary art may not be your cup of tea. But please don't let that disparage you, I am sure there is a whole world of art out there that you will love and be inspired by. Thank you for bringing the tripping incident to our attention. A maintenance team member has gone out to check all of the boardwalks to make sure there are no hazards. Kind Regards, Tom

Brick Bay

Cute Boutique winery that promotes mostly outdoor sculpture art. Brilliant in summer or when it's not soggy wet weather... not that we let that put us off. Great bottle store, coffee bar and restaurant onsite. Dog friendly (on leash at all times).
